The Denton's

Fisher’s Landing played host to Robert & Dee Denton, old, very old friends of the proprietor's. The arrival occurred on a day of the Sabbath. The drive from Lake Arrowhead was un eventful, quiet, peaceful and consumed approximately 10 hours. The initial  breaking of the fast, on the Sabbath evening, was at the Amigo's "by the river". Prevarication's were exchanged. Many other fast breaking episodes helped consumed the five day visit.

The Gallery at the right depicts a summary of the activities. The diversion tunnel, the stink vents at Mt. Lassen, egression from the Country Club, tourist accommodations on the train, Dee contemplating, The Hotel where no one stayed. another eating frenzy, Oops/wow, time to git outta here.

The Visit

The Visit was a glorious event.. There were several "stimulating discussions"  that brought forth very few agreements relative to religion, political, social, travel and economics. The Dinner train did bring enjoyment.  many, many prevarication's were exchanged and in spite of the host, apparently a good time was had by all !
